As of 2022, white diesel is charged at a fuel duty rate of 57.95p per litre while red diesel is charged at a rebated rate of 11.14p per litre. However, the red diesel regulations were updated in April 2022, with many sectors and industries no longer permitted to use rebated red diesel.
