£35,360 - £46,000 a year - Full-time, Permanent

Your NRG currently has permanent positions for Road Tanker Drivers to join our depot team working from Bedford making local fuel oil deliveries.

We are looking for an enthusiastic customer focussed driver with an LGV 2 licence and a current ADR (class 3 in tanks) valid certificate (essential).

40 hours guaranteed, working Monday to Friday. Routine overtime is expected along with some seasonal Saturday work when required.

Your NRG is a privately owned fuel oil distributor, established 10 years ago, to serve customers in the east of England. We also serve customers in other locations from our other strategically based depots from the Scottish Border to the Thames Estuary.

This is a fun company to work for where your hard work is rewarded with the competitive salary on offer. We will ensure you receive the right amount of training you required. You will be accompanied by one of our professional driver team members to complete your daily duty until we are sure you are safe and comfortable to deliver on your own.

Role: Commercial Sales Executive

Reports to: Sales Manager

Location: Birtley, County Durham – DH3 1DB

Role purpose

The role will involve the day-to-day management of a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring we maintain and further enhance the following objectives.

  • Sales Volume
  • Financial Contribution – Maximizing profit margins
  • Buying Accounts

The successful management of the portfolio will involve, taking inbound calls as well as making outbound calls to check requirements, quote current market prices, agree delivery times and dates, then process orders in our computer system.

The role will involve sourcing and developing lapsed buying accounts / customers.

These accounts / customers will be maintained ensuring they becoming regular buyers forming part of the portfolio account management process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take incoming calls and make outbound calls to existing & lapsed customers and prospects.
  • Log all quotes and process all orders to ensure service level and delivery requirements are adhered too.
  • Liaise with Credit and Transport departments to ensure orders are processed and delivered on time.
  • Assist with the management of other sales portfolios and domestic accounts during holiday, sickness and busy periods.
  • Accurately Input data and ensure customer account details are maintained and up to date with key contact details.
  • Answer customer queries in a timely and professional manner.

The Package

  • Competitive salary and realistic OTE £34000 per annum
