We’re looking for an ambitious, commercially focused Head of Renewables to lead the growth of our Future Fuels division and spearhead the next phase of Your NRG’s low-carbon journey.
You’ll be responsible for launching and scaling a new sales function focused on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO Fuel), a renewable diesel alternative that helps our customers reduce emissions without compromising performance. This is a senior role with strategic influence, where you'll shape go-to-market strategy, manage key accounts, and drive sales performance across diverse sectors like logistics, construction, and agriculture.
We work with a broad range of commercial customers, from independent hauliers and plant operators to multi-site fleets, local councils, and blue-light services, delivering practical energy solutions for a cleaner future.
What you’ll be doing:
Strategic Leadership
- Lead the launch and long-term growth of our HVO Fuel and Shell GTL division, aligning sales strategy with Your NRG’s broader sustainability goals
- Set ambitious sales targets and KPIs in collaboration with the Sales Director and senior leadership
- Build and shape a high-performing renewables sales team over time
Sales Growth & Pipeline Development
- Promote and sell HVO Fuel to existing customers and new sectors, including construction, logistics, transport, and energy
- Identify emerging market opportunities through data, trends, and competitive analysis
- Create tailored proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations to win new business
Account Management & Client Engagement
- Serve as the go-to contact for high-value clients and enterprise-level accounts
- Deliver outstanding customer service, identify opportunities for upselling and repeat business
- Develop long-term, trust-based relationships with decision-makers
Thought Leadership & Market Advocacy
- Collaborate with marketing to raise awareness of HVO Fuel through campaigns, events, and digital channels
- Represent Your NRG within industry networks and work closely with regulators, suppliers, and partners
- Position Your NRG as a forward-thinking leader in future fuels
Performance & Reporting
- Track sales performance, forecasts, pipeline activity, and conversion rates
- Produce clear reports and insights for senior management
- Adapt strategy in response to shifting market and regulatory conditions
We’d love to hear from you if you’re:
- A confident B2B sales leader with experience in fuel, energy, logistics or sustainability sectors
- Skilled in launching and scaling sales functions, with a track record of delivering revenue growth
- Comfortable selling complex solutions to senior stakeholders and C-suite contacts
- Passionate about low-carbon innovation and playing a key role in the energy transition
- Analytical, target-driven, and commercially minded
- Collaborative and effective at working cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and product teams
What you’ll have:
- 5+ years in senior B2B sales roles, ideally with experience in alternative fuels, renewables, or sustainability-led sales
- Previous experience in the fuel distribution industry or similar product distribution
- Strong CRM proficiency and data-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead both strategy and day-to-day execution
